LINCOLNTON, GA. - Ms. Adeline Louise Trapp,93, went Home to meet her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Piedmont Augusta Hospital.

A Celebration of Life Service for Miss. Addie will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 with Pastor Lanis Lewis and Pastor Terry Bonds officiating from the graveside at the Lincolnton City Cemetery.

There will be a time of visitation prior to the service from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday. at Rees Funeral Home.

Miss Trapp was the daughter of the late Francis Henry Trapp and the late Lydia Schuster Trapp of the Bronx, New York. She was affectionately known as Miss Addie to the membership of the Lincolnton Methodist Church where she had volunteered her services for over 20 years. She worked with Club Christ, The Master's Closet, River of Life, and was a member of the Friendship Sunday School class. She was one of the originators of the Turkey and Blessings program that served Thanksgiving meals at the Lincoln County jail. She also headed up a women's prison ministry Bible study for many years which was discontinued with the onset of the covid-19 epidemic. However she continued to supply the female inmates with socks and t-shirts from The Master's Closet until recently. Miss Addie was as unselfish with her money as she was with her time. She was known to have paid the property taxes, utilities and food bills for many in need, including some she had met through her prison ministry. She was a woman of great faith and she backed her faith with her works. Her twinkling blue eyes and her sweet smile will be missed by her friends and church family.

Miss Addie was a faithful member of First Assembly of God. She seldom missed a service, she joined First Assembly several years ago.
