LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mrs. Amos Frick Lake, 91, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Doctor's Hospital in Augusta, GA. The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2012 at Lincolnton City Cemetery with Rev. Don Clark and Rev. Jim Bocean officiating. Mrs. Lake was the daughter of the late Willie Ross Frick and the late Clara Hood Frick of Columbia, S.C. She was a resident of Lincoln County since 1946, a homemaker and a member of Lincolnton United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Betty L. Pinson and husband, Newton of Martinez, GA. and Beverly L. Abbott and husband, Don of Athens, GA.; one son, Eugene Boyd Lake and wife, Betty of Thomson, GA.; four grand children, Andrew W. Pinson, Matthew Boyd Lake, Andrew Boyd Lake, III and Nathan Heyward Lake; four great grandchildren, Victoria L. Pinson, Case Lake, Jack Lake and Marshall Lake. Mrs. Lake was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Boyd "Jack" Lake, Jr. and a grandson, Newton R. Pinson, III.
