MACON, GA. - Mr. Barry Teasley Spence, 58, of 1545 Rainey Road entered into rest on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon. There will be a memorial service to celebrate the life of Barry Teasley Spence at 7 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2012 at Rees Funeral Home in Lincolnton, Georgia with the Rev. Dan Rosser officiating. Mr. Spence was the son of the late Vernon Bell Spence and the late Matile Teasley Spence of Lincoln County, Georgia. He served his country in the National Guard, worked on the Alaskan Pipeline for several years and retired from Brown and Williamson and R.J. Reynolds. Barry loved to ride his Harley and was also an avid fisherman and hunter. Survivors include his wife, Amy Rankin Spence of Macon; four daughters, Mandy Spence, Angie Hagood, Whitney Spillers and Hayley Spillers, all of Macon; four grandchildren, Dillon Self, Macy Evans, Savannah Evans and Emma Hagood, all of Macon; one brother, Forrest Spence and wife, Carol of Lincolnton; one sister, Joy S. Smalley and husband, Jack of Lincolnton; and several nieces and nephews.
