EVANS, GA. - Mrs. Betty Martin Cloud, 79, of Long Needle Circle entered into rest on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 24, 2013 at New Hope Baptist Church in Lincolnton, GA. with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Whitaker, Joe Willis, Manuel Bailey, Bobby Joe Partridge, Ken Word and Tom Poland. Mrs. Cloud was the daughter of the late James Franklin Martin and the late Josephine Britt Martin of Alma, GA. She retired as a child care provider and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, James H. "Jimmy" Cloud; one son, Vince W. Cloud and wife, Carla of Aiken, S.C.; two daughters, Melissa C. Hickey and husband, Mike of North Augusta, S.C. and Jamie C. Brosious and husband, Alan of Evans; five grandchildren, John Patrick Inabinet, Kobie Cloud, Ryan Brosious, Kyle Brosious and John Michael Hickey.
