ANDERSONVILLE, GA. - Mrs. Betty Ann Goff Teasley, 74, of 107 Triple Creek Trail entered into rest on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Phobe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, GA. The funeral service will be at 5 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2015 at Bethany United Methodist Church in Lincolnton, GA. with Rev. Thomas Moon and Rev. Alvin Jones officiating. Mrs. Teasley body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Teasley was born August 2, 1940 to the late Maurice Belton Goff and the late Olivia Pearl Goff of McCormick, S.C. She was a homemaker, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Americus, the Epworth Sunday School Class and the Dogwood Garden Club. Mrs. Teasley loved calling and encouraging others on a daily basis and even learned to text in her later years so she could keep up with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Jack Teasley of Andersonvile; two daughters, Jackie Teasley of Andersonville and Kim Thornhill and husband, David of Grovetown, GA; one son, Keith Teasley and wife, Teresa of Americus; four brothers, Hugh Goff and wife, Sara of Parksville, S.C., Kelly Goff and wife, Linda of McCormick, S.C., Belton Goff of McCormick, and Mickey Goff and wife, Nan of McCormick; sister-in-law, Peggy Goff of McCormick; four grandchildren, Hope Teasley, Hannah Teasley, Paul Thornhill and Thomas Thornhill.
