McCORMICK, SC - Mr. Carl A. Dearmin, 91, beloved husband of Elisabeth Dearmin entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at his home in Savannah Lakes Village.

The Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the Lutheran Church by The Lake with  Pastor Sue Johnson officiating.

Carl was the son of the late Ralph Ermal Dearmin and the late Lillian Nichols Dearmin of Linton, Indiana. He enlisted and served his country with honor in the United State Air Force, and while on furlough in Amsterdam, Holland he met Elisabeth Van Veldhuisen to whom he was married to for 69 years. After leaving the service he earned an MBA and went on to become the president of the Hanover Glove Company in Pennsylvania. Carl was active in the local Rotary Club and also volunteered in the Boy Scouts of America. After retiring he moved to Savannah Lakes Village in McCormick, SC. Carl joined the Power Squadron which led him to join the Coast Guard Auxiliary and attained the rank of Coxswain.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to the McCormick Arts Council at the Keturah (MACK), 115 S Main St., McCormick, SC 29835.
