NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Rev. Cecil Lamar Ishee, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 11, 2018 at his residence with the family by his bedside.

The Celebration of Life service will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Luke Ishee, Hillyer Wright, Mil Hamrick, Jeffry Oliphant, Thomas Burton and Alex Turner.

Rev. Ishee was a veteran and served his country with honor for four years in the United States Air Force. He was employed with Civil Service for 25 years and was an ordained minister pastoring various churches in the area for ten years. Rev. Ishee was a member of First Baptist Church of North Augusta, American Legion and was a mason. He was a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying and also enjoyed sailing.

Survivors include his wife, Geri Hamrick Ishee; one daughter, Pamela Oliphant and husband, Jeffry of Woodstock, GA; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother and two sisters. Rev. Ishee was preceded in death by his first wife, Joan Merrill Ishee; two sons, Daniel Ishee and Tracy Ishee.
