LINCOLNTON, GA - Mr. Christopher Wendell Whitener, 68, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

Mr. Whitener was born November 22, 1955 and the son of the late Dewey James Whitener and the late Ernestine Mitchell Whitener of Douglasville, GA. Christopher was formerly employed with Elbert County Department of Public Works as a truck driver.

Survivors include one sister, Shelley D'Angelo of Griffin, GA.; three brothers Kerry Whitener of Lincolnton, Danny Whitener of Buford, GA. and Steve Whitener and wife, Faith of Griffin, GA.; two nephews, David Whitener and wife, Amy of Virginia Beach, VA. and James Cordle; two nieces, Judy Whitener of Lincolnton and Anna Cordle; one great nephew, Kerry Mitchell Young of Lincolnton; and two great nieces, Aubrey Whitener and Serenity Whitener both of Virginia Beach, VA.; great-great nephew, Waylon Young and a great-great niece, Winsley Young both of LIncolnton.
