LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mrs. Claudia Faye Smalley, 71, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. The memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Reviere and Rev. Tom Smalley officiating. Mrs. Smalley was the daughter of the late Claude Michael Dillashaw and the late Alzena Rodgers Dillashaw of McCormick, S.C. She was in the home health care providing personal care services to residents in the comfort of their homes and a member of the McCormick Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Smalley; six children, Rita Faye Gassaway and husband, Jeff, Jeffery S. Carroll and wife, Rosanna, Timothy S. Carroll and wife, Sylvia, Benjamin Andrew Smalley, Kenneth Michael Smalley and Pamela Katherine Smalley all of Lincolnton; fourteen grandchildren, Mark Mitchell Coleman and wife, Alicia, John Kevin Coleman, Kayce Renee Harris and husband, Clayton, Kayla Nicole Harris and husband, Zack, Joshua Samuel Weber, Justin Michael Weber, Angel Michelle Carroll, Timothy Michael Carroll, Natalie Nicole Smalley, Dylan Michael Smalley, Amber Rose Smalley, Kassandra Lynn Powers, Sarina Ariel Powers and Melanie Brianne Powers; seven great grandchildren, Brianna Lynn Coleman, Lianna Elyse Coleman, Brookelyn Mashelle Harris, Austin Jeffery Harris, Abigail Rose Harris, Emma Grace Weber and Wyatt Joshua Weber; one brother, Jerry Neal Dillashaw and wife, Donna of Greenwood, S.C.; two sisters, Linda Paulette Scott of McCormick, S.C. and Mary Catherine Shirley and husband, Ray of Greenwood, S.C. Mrs. Smalley was preceded in death by a son, William Michael Carroll; two sisters, Frances Dillashaw and Gloria Dillashaw; brother, Joseph Michael Dillashaw.
