Obituary

SALEM, SC - Mr. Daniel Hector McMillan, Jr., 74, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, at Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital in Seneca, SC.

The Celebration of Life Service with military honors will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the Lincolnton City Cemetery with Pastor John Belangia officiating.
Mr. McMillan was the son of the late Daniel Hector and Lucy Gold McMillan of Laurinburg, NC. Daniel was a graduate of Wake Forest University and Pembroke State and served his country with honor in the United States Army Security Agency while stationed in Turkey. He was later territory manager of the southern region for Nutrien Solutions.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Peggy Pennington McMillan; sons, Jeff McMillan and wife, Allison of Fountain Inn, SC, Mark McMillan of Marshall, NC and Don Pennington and wife, Cheryln of Lincolnton, GA; five grandchildren, Josh, Holly, Nolan, Chase and Rex; and one great grandchild, Jameson; one sister, Sally McMillan Adams and husband, Glenn; two brothers, Bill McMillan and wife, Carol and Bert McMillan.
