LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mrs. Dollie E. Smalley, 73, of 3071 Leathersville Rd. entered into rest on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Georgia Health Sciences Medial Center in Augusta, GA. The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Deryl Odom and Rev. Tom Smalley officiating. The body will lie in state from 2 p.m. until the hour of service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be A.J. Young, Ken Smalley, Andy Smalley, Charles Dornberg, Brandon Dornberg and Christopher Quarles. Mrs. Dollie was the daughter of the late Fountain Moss Ellenberg and the late Ida Mae Roberts Ellenberg of Greenwood County, S.C. She was a retired textile worker and a member of Salem Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Kenneth Smalley and wife, Faye; two daughters, Jan Whitener and husband, Kerry and Judy Webb, all of Lincolnton; three sisters, Lee Bentley and husband, William of Lincolnton, Jane Young and husband, Tommy of McCormick,S.C. and Brenda Bowick and husband Franklin of Troy, S.C.; sister-in-law, Martha Jean Grimaud and husband, George of Washington, GA.; seven grandchildren, Carla Young,Charles Dornberg, Mandy Rogers, David Whitener, Ken Smalley, Pam Smalley and Andy Smalley; seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Mrs. Dollie was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Truett Smalley; daughter, Katherine Smalley and a brother, Thomas Ellenberg.
