Obituary







DUNNELLON, FL. - Mrs. Doris Chamberlain Klein, 94, formerly of McCormick, S.C. entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 25, 2017 at the Legacy House in Ocala, FL.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Republican United Methodist Church with Rev. Justin Ritter officiating. Interment will follow in the McCormick City Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Gene Burton, Louis Chamberlain, Dusty Hall, Terrell Holloway, Charles Link,  Chris Robertson, Jeffery Robertson, and Mike Robertson.

Mrs. Klein was the daughter of the late Wyatt Ellington Chamberlain and the late Daisy Holloway Chamberlain of McCormick, S.C. She served her country with honor as a WAVE of the United States Navy during World War II. Mrs. Klein was a retired civil service service employee, member of DAV, Disabled American Veterans and was the oldest member of Republican United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Crews and husband, Fred of Dunnellon, FL.; two granddaughters, Christi Gorney of Dublin, GA. and Tammy Nichols of Dover, N.H.; three great grandsons, Jonathon Nichols, Brendan Nichols and Sean Gorney; one sister, Phyllis Burton and husband, Gene of Elberton, GA. and numerous other family members. Mrs. Klein along with her parents was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert Joseph Klein; one son, Wyatt "Eddie" Klein; one granddaughter, Teresa Futral; sister, Nita Wansley; two brothers, Wyatt "W.E."  Chamberlain, Jr. and L. Perry Chamberlain.
