LINCOLNTON, GA - Mr. Douglas Lee Johnson, 70, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at his residence on Lincoln Ave.

The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Washington Chapel Cemetery on Oak Grove Rd with Rev, Tripp Goodwin officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be William Johnson, Steven Cobb, Stacy Johnson and Jesse Wagoner.

Mr. Johnson was the son of the late Roy L. and Leola Juanita Stamey Johnson of Wilkes County. He was self-employed as a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife Irene Hayes Johnson; two sons, Darren Johnson and wife, Tracy of Carl, GA and Bradley Johnson of Lincolnton; two daughters, Leola Johnson and Billie Sue Johnson, both of Lincolnton; two brothers, Roy Eugene Johnson and wife, Sheila of Morristown, TN and Paul H. Johnson of Lincolnton; and eight grandchildren. Mr. Johnson was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Douglas "Peanut" Johnson; and two brothers, William Johnson and Frank Johnson.
