LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mr. Edgar O'Neal Glover, Jr., 79, of 1099 Cherokee Dr. South entered into rest on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at University Hospital in Augusta. There will be a memorial service to celebrate the life of Edgar O'Neal Glover, Jr. at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Rees Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Davis officiating. Mr. Glover was the son of the late Edgar O'Neal Glover and the late Margaret Bates Glover of New Ellenton, S.C. He was retired from Dupont and was self employed as a construction worker. He was a mason and a member of New Work Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen Glover; one son, Brent Qualls of Lincolnton; six daughters, Patricia Reese of Martinez, GA., Melissa Qualls of Warrenton, GA., Wanda Richardson of East Saint Louis, MO., Breanna Morris, Mercedes Glover and Crystal Glover, all of Lincolnton; four sisters, Lou Glover of Panama City, FL., Betty Pappas of Grovetown,GA., Joann Wynn of Jasonville, IN. and Alstyne "Tino" Bowman of Spartanburg, S.C.; God son, Dustin Waller of Magnolia AK.;seventeen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. Mr. Glover was preceded in death by two sons, Norman Glover and Tim Glover and two brothers, Martin Glover and James "Curly" Glover.
