LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mr. Edward Allen "Ed" Krummel, 66, of 4810 Chamberlain Ferry Rd. entered into rest on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, S.C. The graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2012 at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, GA. with Rev. Thomas Moon officiating. Mr. Krummel was retired owner and operator of an independent semi-trucking company. He was a veteran of the United States Marines serving his country with honor during the Vietnam war. Mr. Krummel attained the rank of Corporal E4 and was recipient of the Purple Heart. Survivors include his wife, Barbara A. Krummel; four children, Ted Graziano of Bluffton, S.C., Betsy Linder and husband, Rick of Appling, GA., Emily Kelly and husband, Bill of Macungie, PA., Tom Graziano and wife, Susan of Augusta, Ga.; one brother, John Krummell of St. Louis, MO. and eight grandchildren.
