LINCOLNTON, GA. - Ms. Elsie Irene Quarles, 71, of Crook Rd. entered into rest on Saturday, September 27, 2008. The funeral service will be held at 3 pm, Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Jones Chapel with Rev. Wade Palmer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Al Young, Charles Dornburg, Frank Freeland, Frank Bentley, Wyatt Holsenback, Bob Norman, Fred H. Ingram III, Thomas Quarles and Frankie Jones. Ms. Quarles was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County and was a retired textile worker. Survivors include two daughters, Beth Goolsby of Washington, Ga. and Joyce Q. Danhirao and husband, Gopal of Lincolnton; two sons, Thomas Edward Quarles and Bobby Lee Quarles, both of Lincolnton; three brothers, James Robert Dill of Lincolnton, Steve Elton Dill and Grady Dill both of Augusta; eleven grandchildren, LeRoy Harley, Edward Harley, Lisa Smith, Shannon Davis, Christopher Quarles, Kyle Quarles, Megan Quarles, Clay Williamson, Christopher Lee Quarles and Brady Quarles; twelve great grandchildren, Alex Harley, William Harley, Daxton Smith, Leah Neveah Williamson, Jasmine Davis, Mia Davis, Chyianne Quarles, Lakeyel Quarles, Jamie Smith, Tiffaney Smith, Brennia Smith and Kimberly Smith.
