IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Emma Lee
King
November 12, 1945 – May 6, 2021
LINCOLNTON, GA - Mrs. Emma Lee King, 75 of Bethany Church Rd. entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Augusta University Medical Center.
There will be a celebration of life service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the Lewis Family Pavilion in the Lincoln County Historical Park, 147 Lumber Street with Apostle Carla McDougald officiating.
Mrs. King was born November 12, 1945 and was the daughter of the late Isaac Norman, Jr. and the late Lizzie Hawes of Lincoln County. Mrs. Emma as she was known by many was an excellent cook and an immaculate housekeeper. She maintained her yards herself and they were groomed and manicured better than a professional landscaper would have done. Mrs. Emma had a heart of gold often collecting furniture and preparing food for families that were less fortunate. She would open her home and give a loving and caring environment to a child that had come upon hard times at home. To say she will be missed would be an understatement, she was loved and will be missed by all. God has definitely gained another angel in Mrs. Emma. "Go rest high on that mountain, for your work on earth is done."
