LINCOLNTON, GA - Rev. Eugene Talmadge Collins, 77, of Midway Church Rd. entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 11, 2020 at Wills Memorial Hospital in Washington, GA.

Serving as pallbearers will be the two sons, Oliver Collins, Josh Collins and the grandsons.

Rev. Collins was the son of the late John Thomas Collins and the late Lillie Mae Ellis Collins of Clarksville, GA. He was retired after many years as a drywall contractor and was the pastor of Present Day Truth Tabernacle.   Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sue Collins; children, Anita Kennedy, Oliver Collins, Sonia Chastain, Joshua Collins, Anna Bay and Esther Martinez; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; two brothers, Clem Collins and wife, Linda of Hiawassee, GA and J.B. Collins and wife, Mazie of Lincolnton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rev. Collins was also preceded in death by three brothers, Douglas Collins, Thomas Collins and Richard Collins; and one sister, Ella Bee Hogan.
