LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mrs. Evelyn H. Smith, 88, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at University Hospital.

The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Salem Baptist Church cemetery with with Rev. Stephen F. Rayner officiating.

Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late William Joe Holsomback and the late Clara Estelle Martin Holsomback. She was retired from Oxford Manufacturing and Goolsby's of Lincolnton. Mrs. Smith was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Carol Ann Goolsby and husband, Richard; two grandchildren, Cara Miller and husband, Kyle and Wilkes Goolsby and wife, Megan all of Lincolnton; two great grandchildren, Emerie Miller and Carrington Goolsby; one sister, Jo Ann Jones of Lincolnton; Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Bailey.
