LINCOLNTON, GA - Mr. Glenn D. Quarles, 85, of Jones Chapel Rd. entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at Piedmont Augusta Hospital.

The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Jones Chapel with Pastor Tom Smalley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the hour of service at Jones Chapel on Tuesday.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Young, Jeff Bolton, Trevor Chadwick, James Quarles, Gage Hinton and Bryson Quarles.

Mr. Quarles was the son of the late Robert Willie Quarles and the late Lizzie Dill Quarles. He was a retired business owner of Quarles Logging and Quarles Sales & Service. Mr. Quarles was a member and elder of Jones Chapel.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Sarah Goldman Quarles; daughter, Renae Q. Bolton and husband, Jeff; two granddaughters, Carlie Bolton and Emilie Bolton; two sisters, Rachel Quarles and Mae Banks; and numerous other family members. Mr. Quarles was also preceded in death by five brothers, James Quarles, Lindsey Quarles, Harvey Quarles, Jack Quarles and Bobby Quarles.
