LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mrs. Hazel Cross Herron, 87, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Doctors Hospital in Augusta. The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Greenwood Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Joe Marsh officiating. Mrs. Herron was the daughter of Nicholas Cross and Eula Mae Baker Cross of Tampa, Florida. She was a homemaker and a member of Greenwood Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Kennedy of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Jerry Lee Lancaster, Jr. and wife, Amy of Kings, N.C. and Jerri Ann Johnson and husband, A.J. of Hawkinsville, GA.
