Obituary
LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mr. Herbert W. Bailey, Jr., 58, entered into rest on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at University Hospital in Augusta, GA.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Rehoboth Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski and Mary Rose Stein officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Bailey, Manuel Bailey, Landon Bailey, Scotty Roberson, John Bailey and Chris Bailey.
Mr. Herbert W. Bailey, Jr. was born June 15, 1958 in Washington, GA and he was employed as a diesel mechanic and truck driver before his retirement. He was an avid bluegrass fan and promoted many bluegrass concerts in this area. Herbie was also a member of New Hope Baptist Church
Survivors include one son, Jason T. Bailey and fiancé, Jessica Castonguay of Dewy Rose, GA; one daughter, Patricia E. Massey of Elberton, GA; father, Herbert W. Bailey, Sr. and wife, Donna, of Washington, GA;
mother, Patricia M. "Patsy" Partridge of Washington, GA; sister, Penny B. Roberson and husband, Mark, of Washington, GA; brother, Manuel P. Bailey and wife, Mercedes, of Washington, GA; Five grandchildren; step-sister, Mary Ellen Partridge of Grovetown, GA; companion, Joan Broome and friend, Sheila Bailey.
Mr, Bailey was preceded in death by a brother, Patrick G. Bailey and his step-father, Harry Partridge.

The family will receive friends at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Saggus, 431 Bailey Rd., Washington, GA.
