LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mr. Roderick Hugh Norman, Jr. 54, of 149 Groves Street entered into rest on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the resident of his sister in Evans, GA. Graveside services will be at 11a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Goshen Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Paul Reviere and Rev. Dan Rosser officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be David Hall, Richard Butler, Joe Young, Jim Heard, Jack Smalley and Joey Johnson. Mr. Norman was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County and the son of the late Roderick Hugh Norman, Sr. and Fannie Bryan Norman. He was a textile worker and a graduate of Lincoln County High School class of 1975. Hugh was a member of Lincolnton Baptist Church and the Adult Men Sunday School Class. Survivors include two sisters, Carol Harrell and husband, Randy of Evans and Cherry Holland and husband, James of North Augusta, S.C. and several nieces and nephews.
