LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mrs. Irene Delpha Whitley, entered into rest on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Heartland Hospice House in Augusta. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Loco Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. David Jenkins officiating. Mrs. Whitley was born in Abingdon, VA. and the daughter of the late John and Mamie Manns Otey. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, James Lively, Sr. of Lincolnton and Rocky Dixon of Grovetown, GA.; four daughters, Earline Spires, Margaret Fortson and Mary LaGrone of Lincolnton and Gerildene Widvey of Aiken, SC; sister, Gay Osborn of Appling, GA; brother, June Otey of Abingdon, VA.; twenty grandchildren, Christi Price, Ricky Smith, Kimberly Lively, Adam Fortson, Jessie Widvey, James J. Lively, Danny Lively, Sr., Matthew Dixon, Wendy Dixon, Tina Garcia, Lisa Strickland, Anglie Linkus, Jason Dixon, Charlene Dixon, Crystal Furr, Brandy Dixon, Charles B. Dixon, Marilyn McDeavitt, Tammy Myrick and Claude Spires, Jr.; thirty great grandchildren. Mrs. Whitley was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Whitley; three sons, Marvin Lively, John Dixon and Charles Dixon. Pallbearers will be Jason Dixon, Mathew C.
