WASHINGTON, GA. - Mrs. Jacquelyn "Jackie" B. Adams, 71 of 836 Berkshire Dr. entered into rest on Friday, July 24, 2009 at Wills Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Adams was the daughter of the late James S. Banks and the late Mary Goldman Banks of Lincolnton, Ga. She was retired secretary of the Georgia State Patrol Post 417, a member of Washington First Baptist Church and Belle Williams Volunteer Sunday School Class. The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2009 at Washington First Baptist Church with Rev. Clay Aspinwall officiating. Serving as honorary pallberaers will be officers and staff of Georgia State Patrol Post 417. Survivors include her husband, Vernon C. Adams; two daughters, Vicki Batrous and husband, Joe of Thomson, Ga. and Kelli Hardin and husband, Steve of Evans, Ga.; five grandchildren, Hannah DeMore, Joseph Batrous, Cade Hardin, Rachel Hardin and Jacob Hardin.
