TIGNALL, GA - Mr. James P. Brady, 72, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, GA.

Mr. Brady was the son of the late George Bernard Brady, Jr. and the late Adeline Smith Brady of Miami, FL. James was a member of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting industry of the United States and Canada for 50 years.

Mr. Brady retired from Plumbers Local Union #519 at the age of 58 to pursue his passions of hunting and fishing deep in the swamps of the Everglades. He enjoyed his life in the Everglades with his girlfriend of 29 years, Sandra Farrington. James was a part of camp "No Name". He was a jokester and always had a tale to tell. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and neighbors.

James moved back to Lincoln County in 2019 to be close to his children and you would often see him speeding around on his golf cart visiting the neighborhood. He always had a smile and an ice cold beer for you when you walked onto his porch.

Survivors include three daughters, Bridget Flores and husband, Justin, Lisa Harris and husband, Chris and Kathleen Smith and husband, Jason; eight grandchildren, Tana Kamus, Coty Denard, Tylor Quarles and wife, Laura, Haley Garcia and husband, Andrew, Jesse Denard, Dylan Clegg, Christopher Clegg and Destiny Harden; and 8 great grandchildren. Mr. Brady was also preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Brady and Timothy Brady.

At Mr. Brady's request his remains will be returned back deep in the Everglades that he loved so much. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2023 at the residence on 1190 Shore Dr., Tignall, GA.
