LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mr. James E. Scott, 86, of 2710 Chamberlain Ferry Rd. entered into rest on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Wills Memorial Hospital in Washington, Ga. The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Faith Temple of Lincolnton with Rev. Wade Palmer officiating. Interment will be at Lincolnton City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Aycock, Chris Bufford, Josh Bufford, Perry Davis, Walter Palmer and Charles Scott. Mr. Scott was a commercial fisherman and a farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois M. Scott. Survivors include a daughter, Sarah S. Arthur and husband, Edward of Lincolnton; four sisters, Sara Langley and Mary Bowie of Abbeville, S.C., Nelda Fain of Tignall, Ga. and Ruby Hughes of Waterloo, S.C.; two grandsons, Jimmy Arthur and wife, Hilda and Eddie Arthur and wife, Patty all of Lincolnton; three great grandchildren, Tonya Harper and husband, John, Samantha Arthur and Dylan Arthur; four great great grandchildren, Scott, Niki, LeighAnna and William.
