WASHINGTON, GA - Mr. Johnny R. Freeman, 64, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Wills Memorial Hospital.

The funeral service will be held from the graveside at 4 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2023 with Pastor John Belangia officiating at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504.

Mr. Freeman was the son of  Ronald Hill Freeman and Jackie Rae Whitmire Freeman of Gainesville, GA. He was an avid sports fan following and supporting the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Atlanta Falcons. Johnny faithfully attended Faith Community Church in Lincolnton until his declining health would not permit him.

Survivors include two sons, Tommy Freeman and wife, Jennifer and Todd Freeman and wife, Emily; one daughter, Tiffany Belangia and husband, John; six grandchildren, Casden Freeman, Brydence Freeman, Amelia Freeman, Kinsley Freeman, Arabella Belangia and Eliana Belangia; and one niece, Chelsie Jarrard. Johnny was preceded in death by two siblings, Neta Jarrard and Angie Jones.
