LINCOLNTON, GA - Mr. Johnny Eugene King, 82, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 22, 2022 at the Sunshine Care in Lincolnton.

The celebration of life service will be at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2022 at the Lewis Family Pavilion in the Lincoln County Historical Park.

Mr. King had retired as a boom operator with Georgia Pacific and later was the shop foreman with Brown Boat Docks. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and was an excellent carpenter and handyman.

Survivors include one son, Apostle Bruce B. King of Greenwood, SC; three daughters, Rugenia King of Lincolnton and Harriett Faye Brehm, and Ayanna Wells and husband, Andre of Grovetown, GA; eleven grandchildren, Gwannettia King, Careesa Latimer and husband, Carlton, Jantzen Stroman, Juya King, Jadis Ballard, Ameriah Elam, Jordan Elam, Montrevious, Micailah, M'Jaurik and M' Khorbin Wells; four great grandchildren, Angelize King, Barine Naadubon, Alexia Latimer and Destiny Latimer; one brother, Charlie King and wife, Brenda of Lincolnton.

Mr. King was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Emma Lee King; a son, Scottie Eugene King; three sisters, Addie Mae Clark, Louise Calhoun and Rosa Lee Leverett; five brothers, Wilson Phelps, Calvin Phelps, Daniel King, Leonard King and Paul King.
