Obituary

Mrs. Judy Robinson Schuetz, 85, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at her residence on Lake Circle.

Judy was the daughter of the late Marion Clifton Robinson and Nettie Jones Robinson of Bamberg, South Carolina. She was a faithful member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church and was a shining example of Christian love and service. She truly loved everyone and was always ready to lend a hand wherever there was a need. An active member of the United Methodist Women, she gave her time and energy generously to the mission and ministry of the church.

One of Judy's most cherished ministries was her heartfelt card-writing. Each Sunday, she faithfully took note of the names placed on the church prayer list and wrote them personal, uplifting messages. Every card she sent carried her warm spirit, genuine care, and a reminder of God's love. For many, those encouraging notes became treasured keepsakes of hope and comfort.

Judy's joy was contagious—her smile, her kind words, and her encouraging spirit brightened every gathering. She was devoted to her Sunday School class, where she eagerly joined in discussions and sought to grow deeper in her faith. Her commitment to learning and living out God's Word was evident in all that she did.

To her church family and friends, Judy was a blessing beyond measure. She will be remembered for her compassion, her servant's heart, and her steadfast faith. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of kindness, encouragement, and love will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Judy cherished the peaceful simplicity of lake life, where she found great joy in fishing, dancing to her favorite tunes, and most of all, cooking hearty, homemade meals that brought her family together and filled the house with warmth and love.

Judy was survived by two daughters Kimila D. Cranford and husband, Ernest and Shawn Lee Pitts and husband, Mark; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and numerous other family members.
