Obituary
LINCOLNTON, GA - Mr. Larry Joseph Smalley, 72, of Jones Martin Road entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at University Hospital in Augusta.
At Larry's request, at the time of his death he will be buried within 24 hours at sunset the following day. To honor his wishes a graveside service was held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery at 6:30 p.m. with Rev. Stephen Rayner officiating.
Larry was the son of the late Joseph I. Smalley and the late Eldora Dill Smalley. He had retired from the Augusta-Richmond County Fire Department.
Survivors include two sons, Joey Smalley of Appling, GA and Travis Smalley of Martinez, GA; three grandchildren, Corey Smalley, Jordan Smalley and Caleb Smalley; two sisters, Geraldine Reigle of Grovetown, GA and Lorena Cliett of Harlem, GA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Salem Baptist Church, in care of Mr. Alvin Cox, 2476 Leathersville Rd., Lincolnton, GA 30817.
