LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mrs. Annie Laura Ashmore Bussey, 90, of Elm Street entered into rest on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at her residence. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Faith Community Church with Rev. Addison Belangia officiating. Interment will follow in the Lincolnton City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Bussey, Grant Cartledge, Mike McCombs, Jeff McKinney, Tony Norman and Elliott Smith. Mrs. Bussey was the daughter of the late John Richard Ashmore and the late Mattie LeRoy Ashmore. She was co-owner of Bussey's Florist and a member of Faith Community Church. Survivors include four sisters, Martha "Polly" Reese of McCormick, S.C., Sadie Williams of Augusta, Matilda Finley and husband, Melvin and Margaret White and husband, Raymond both of Lincolnton; one brother, T.G. Ashmore and wife, Miriam of Augusta; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bussey was preceded in death by her husband, James Bussey; a son, Harry Bussey; and two brothers, Nathaniel Ashmore and J.R.
