Lincolnton, GA - Mrs. Lenora Ware Danner, 95, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at her residence on Washington Street.

The celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Hephzibah Baptist Church with Rev. Paul C. Reviere and Rev. Allen Danner officiating. Internment will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Elliott Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at Rees Funeral Home

Serving as pallbearers will be Cal Holloway, Chad Walden, Kyle Reese, Shawn Botelho, Lil Roy Lewis and Darrell Crook. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Alvin Scott, Joe Smith, Scotty Goodson, Mike McCombs and Melvin Burgess

Mrs. Danner was the daughter of the late Walter Nicholas Ware and the late Gladys Keeter Ware of Lincoln County. She retired as a bookkeeper from Piedmont Wood Company and was also co-owner of Farmers Hardware. Mrs. Danner had many interests, including china painting and, until recently, working in and mowing her own yard. She was a caregiver for many family members, including her mother and mother-in-law, whom she cared for and brought into her home. Mrs. Danner was a member of the Colonial Dames and Hephzibah Baptist Church where she served as church secretary for many years.

Survivors include one son, David Danner and wife, Brenda; one daughter, Laura Ann Rich and husband, Bob; five grandchildren, Cal Holloway, Amy Botelho and husband, Shawn, Elizabeth Holloway, Becky Reese and husband, Kyle, and Charles Danner; three great grandchildren, Jackson Reese, Jonathan Botelho and Isabella Danner; one brother, Charles Ware; one sister, Joan Smith and numerous other nieces and nephews. Mrs. Danner was also preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, D.T. Danner.
