Obituary

Linda Jean Sellers Goff, 77, of McCormick, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on April 23, 1947, to the late Billy Sellers and Thelma Dorothy Finley Sellers. She was the wife of the late Kelly Wayne Goff Sr. They were married for 52 years.

Linda graduated from McCormick High School in 1965. She later graduated from Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood with a degree in business. She was a lifelong and active member of the Republican United Methodist Church in McCormick. She retired from the McCormick County Department of Motor Vehicles where she served as the branch manager for over 30 years. She enjoyed spending time outside with her flowers, camping with her family, and boating on the lake.

In addition to her husband and parents, Linda is preceded in death by a brother, Billy Wayne Sellers.

She is survived by her two children, Tammi Goff Cameron and Kelly Wayne Goff Jr. (Rebecca); four grandchildren, Cory Goff, Tanner Cameron (Mallory), Ryen Goff, and Jessica Smith (Koty); and five great-grandchildren, Madysen Goff, Ryland Cameron, Morgan Goff, Myles Goff, and Kennedy Cameron. She is also survived by her twin sister, Louise Sellers Ballentine, and brother, Larry Sellers.

A service to celebrate Linda's life will be held on Tuesday, September 17, at 2:00 p.m. at Republican United Methodist Church in McCormick with the Reverend Susan Galasso officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tanner Cameron, Edward Deason, Johnny Deason, Timmy Deason, Koty Smith and Neal Willis.
