LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mr. Lindsey Bohler, 93, of Bethany Church Rd. entered into rest on Tuesday, January 26,2010 at Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington, GA. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2010 at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Thomas Moon officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Gene Bohler, Steve Bohler, John Bohler, Wendell Gresham, Edwin Burgess, Bobby Burgess, Bill Bannister and Greg Dukes. Mr. Bohler was the son of the late Rufus Bohler and the late Anne Brown Bohler. He was a retired textile worker and was the oldest member of Bethany United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Thomas Bohler and wife, Diane of Lincolnton; two grandsons, Brian Bohler and Scott Bohler of Lincolnton; great grandson, Keith Bohler of Lincolnton; brother, J.D. Bohler and wife, Martha of Augusta; numerous nieces and nephews. The family requested that in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, in care of Mr. Edwin Burgess, 2578 Remsen Rd., Lincolnton, GA. 30817.
