Obituary

Lottie Robinson Ellison, age 86, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026, in Evans, Georgia. Born in Troy, South Carolina, Lottie carried her roots with her throughout her life and remained deeply connected to family, community, and home.

Lottie was a devoted business owner whose determination and strong work ethic defined much of her life. She took great pride in her career and was honored as the (year) 2000 Small Business Person of the Year by the Augusta/Richmond County Chamber of Commerce — an achievement that reflected not only her success, but the respect she earned from those around her.

Her greatest joy, however, was her family. Lottie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found happiness in time spent with those she loved. She leaves behind her children and grandchildren: her daughter, Kimberly Ellison, and grandchildren Johnny Los, Amber Ashe, and Hannah Castello; her daughter, Cynthia Starnes (Rusty), and grandchildren Caitlin Penland, Tyler Starnes, and Ryan Starnes;
her son, Graham Ellison (Cheryl), and grandchildren Parks Ellison, Anna Grace Bates, and Miles Ellison; and her son, Robert Ellison, and grandchildren Robbie Ellison, Austin Ellison, William Ellison, Harrison Goff, and Hampton Goff. She is also survived by eight adored great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Lottie deeply loved her home and the neighbors who surrounded her. She spent countless hours planting, tending, and nurturing her yard — a true labor of love and her greatest passion. Her garden was a reflection of her spirit: patient, attentive, and quietly beautiful.

Lottie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Graham "Pepper" Ellison, her parents, and four siblings. Though deeply missed, she is joyfully reunited with those who went before her.

A graveside service honoring Lottie's life will be held on February 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Troy Cemetery in Troy, South Carolina.

Lottie Robinson Ellison will be remembered for her strength, her independence, her love of family, and the care she poured into everything she nurtured — especially the people and places she called home. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the beauty she left behind.
