LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mrs. Lovie Jane Goldman Smalley, 84, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Lake Crossing Health Center.

Mrs. Smalley was the daughter of the late Henry J. Goldman and the late Alice L. Goldman Butler of Lincoln County. She was a graduate of Lincolnton High School and a retired textile worker.

Survivors include four brothers, Billy Joe Goldman, Sr. and wife, Sandra, Harvey A. Goldman and wife, Doris, Raymond E. Goldman and wife, Cynthia and Racy Goldman and wife, Mary; one sister, Betty Steele; two sisters-in-law, Mary B.Goldman and Debbie G. Williams; one aunt, Frances L.Crook; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Smalley was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Dill Smalley and two brothers, Robert "Bob" Goldman and Ronnie Goldman.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Stephen Rayner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dr.Billy Goldman, Jr., Tony McGahee, Aaron Parton, Harvey Goldman, Jr., Tom Goldman, Matthew Goldman, Monroe Reid and Jack Smalley.
