LINCOLNTON , GA. - Ms. Lula Uldean (Dean) Folsom McCullough, 80, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Augusta University Medical Center.
Ms. McCullough was the daughter of the late William Ernest Folsom, Sr. and the late Lula Brown Folsom Finney of Valdosta. She retired as a social worker with the Department of Family and Children Services in Lowndes County. Ms. McCullough loved and cherished the memories that were made with her grandchildren, she also enjoyed artwork, painting and tending and nurturing her flower garden.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol McCullough(Lisa) of Lincolnton and a son, Tom McCullough and daughter in law, Christal of Hahira, GA.; six grandchildren, T.J. McCullough (Alexis), Taylor McCullough, Samantha Miley (JD)., Cole McCullough, Ethan McCullough and Hunter McCullough; and seven great grandchildren, as well as her brother Bob Folsom (Alana), Barbara Folsom, both of Valdosta, and sister Maryann Strickland of Bradenton, FL and several nieces and nephew. Ms. McCullough is preceded in death by her older brother Bill Folsom (Sylvia).
A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 2 until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Park Place by McLane, 108 Park Ave., Valdosta, GA.
In Lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to the Georgia Cancer Center, 1410 Laney Walker Boulevard, CN-2224, Augusta, GA 30912. Please address checks to the Augusta University Foundation and include Georgia Cancer Center Fund #211500 in the memo section.
