WASHINGTON, GA - Mrs. Luna Mae Smith DeMeuse, 93, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at her residence on Riverside Dr.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Hephzibah Baptist Church with Rev. Elliott Smith and Rev. Allen Danner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Cutler, Scott Cutler, Roy Cutler, Roman Marshall, Jeff Maloof and Billy Miladin.
Mrs. DeMeuse was the daughter of the late William Louis Smith and the late Zadie Mae McKissick Smith of Saltillio, MS. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 50 years, Wayne H. DeMeuse; two daughters, Ruth Nell Miladin and husband, William of Washington, GA and Cynthia Lynn Marshall and husband, Rodney of Statesville, NC; step-daughter, Debby Howson and husband, Joseph of St. George, Utah; two brothers, Kenneth Smith and wife, Evelyn of Zephyrhills, FL and Tommie Smith and wife, Dora of Tupelo, MS; two sisters, Louise Maloof of Washington, GA and Emily Lamons of Tupelo, MS; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. Mrs. DeMeuse was also preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Smith, James Smith and Doug Smith; and one sister, Evelyn Pannell.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Hephzibah Baptist Church.
