LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mrs. Margie B. Hicks, 91, went to her Heavenly home on Monday, April 2, 2018, at Lake Crossing Health Care in Appling, GA and was reunited with her husband Bishop Cullen L. Hicks.

The Celebration of Life service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Martin's Crossroad Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. James James, Rev. Wayne Hicks and Rev. Daren Hicks officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Addison Belangia officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Corley, Kevin Corley, Richard Boyd, Clark Boyd, Kenny Joe Boyd and Russell Boyd.

Mrs. Hicks was the daughter of the late Millie B. Boyd and the late Annie Pearson Boyd of Graniteville, S.C. She was a very faithful pastor's wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Hicks was a member of Martin's Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church.

Survivors include son, Rev. Wayne Hicks and wife, Cherryl of Gainesville, GA; daughter, Julianne Belangia and husband, Addison of Lincolnton; brother, Clifton Lester Boyd and wife, Jean of Graniteville, S.C.; sister, Shirley Corley and husband, Kyle of Graniteville, S.C.; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hicks was preceded in death by her husband, Bishop Cullen L. Hicks; and two brothers, Marvin Boyd and Kenneth L. Boyd.
