LINCOLNTON , GA. - The Lord has called another angel to live in His heavenly mansion. Mrs. Margie P. Smalley, 83, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Pearl P. Smalley of Lincolnton. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Salem Baptist Church . Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Dee Bentley, Austin Curley, Jack Taylor, Joshua Taylor, Chris Goldman and Clint Martin. Mrs. Margie was the daughter of the late Robert Allen Partridge and the late Lillie Mae Reynolds Partridge. She was retired from Oxford Industries as a seamtress and was a faithful member of Salem Baptist Church . Although Aunt Margie was never a biological mother, she was active in the lives of her many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed visiting with her family and attending family gatherings. Survivors include four generations of nieces and nephews.
