LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mrs. Mary L. Tarver, 81, of 166 Lincoln Avenue entered into rest on Friday, March 27, 2009 at Wills Memorial Hospital in Washington, Georgia. The memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Lincolnton Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Rosser officiating. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be classmates of the Fidelis Sunday School Class. Mrs. Tarver was born November 9, 1927 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Ira and Thelma Vance. She was retired from Kmart, a member of Lincolnton Baptist Church and the Fidelis Sunday School Class. Mrs. Tarver was survived by three sons, Jim Tarver and wife, Nancy of Indianapolis, Indiana, Michael Tarver and wife, Rebecca of Lincolnton, Greg Tarver and wife, Debbie of Indianapolis; two daughters, Gerry Snelling of Collenville, Illinois and Christann Shelby of Spencer, Indiana; brother, Joe Ferguson of Shelbyville, Indiana; sister-in-law, Gloria Ferguson of Indianapolis; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
