Obituary

LINCOLNTON, GA. - Miss Marzie Irene "Sister" Bryant, 75, of C E Norman Rd. entered into rest on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at University Hospital in Augusta, GA.

Miss Bryant or "Sister" as everyone knew her was the daughter of the late James Patrick "Jim" Bryant, Sr. and the late Marzie Lee Ingram Bryant. Her hobbies included cooking, gardening and attending auctions. "Sister" was retired from Milliken and was a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church.

Survivors include four brothers, Billy Bryant of Lincolnton, Jimmy Bryant of Lincolnton and Charles Bryant of Thomson and Edmond Bryant of Lincolnton; one sister, Juanita B. Brown of Lincolnton; numerous nieces and nephews. "Sister" along with her parents was also preceded in death by a brother, Dudley Bryant.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Hephzibah Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Bunnell and Rev. Allen Danner officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Crook, Danny Ingram, Eugene Bryant, Patrick Bryant, John Armour and Daniel Bryant.
