LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mrs. Maudelle Danner Wright, 85, wife of the late Thomas Hillyer Wright, Sr. of 179 White Rock Rd. entered into rest on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Wills Memorial Hospital in Washington, GA. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Lincolnton Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Rosser officiating. Interment will be at Lincolnton City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Gordon Rayner, Lee Partridge, George Richard, Greg Richard, Marty Richard and Norman Talbert. Mrs. Wright was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Leonard Jefferson Danner and Rosa Viola Hudson Danner. She retired from the Lincoln County ASCS office after 35 years of service. Mrs. Wright was also a member of Lincolnton Baptist Church and the T.E.L. Sunday School Class. Survivors include a son, Thomas Hillyer Wright, Jr. and wife Carol of Lincolnton; three grandchildren, Katharine Wright, Jeff Wright and Emily Wright; two sister-in-laws, Lelia W. Kelley and Miriam W. Richard and husband, Marvin; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wright was also preceded in death by her sister, Viola Danner and two brothers, Vance Danner and Ralph Danner.
