LINCOLNTON, GA - Mrs. Miriam Audrey Wright Richard, 92 entered into eternal home on Friday, December 13, 2019 at University Westwood in Evans, GA.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2019 at Lincolnton Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Stinson, Rev. Anthony Hopkins and Rev. Tripp Goodman officiating. Interment will follow in the Lincolnton City Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mark R. Augustynowicz, Jathan Richard, Joshua Richard, James Richard, Logan Wall, Jesse Dee Richard and Hillyer Wright, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be the T.E.L. Sunday School Class and special friend, Janet Dawkins.

Mrs. Richard was born December 30, 1926 to Thomas Blanchard Wright and Fannie Norman Wright. Miriam loved her family and serving the Lord. She was a lifelong member of Lincolnton Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and did solos for revivals, weddings and funerals. She received such great joy teaching others how to know, love and serve the Lord through Sunday School, GA's, YWA, VBS and Training Union. She was a talented seamstress and cook who enjoyed hosting big family gatherings through the years. Her family has fond memories of her homemade breads that she was eager to share with them and her community. She called it her "bread ministry".

She is survived by three sons, Marvin D. Richard, III, George Thomas Richard and Gregory Blanchard Richard and wife, Ellen; grandchildren, Kelly Richard Williams, Mark Richard Augustynowicz, Georgianna Richard Wall, Amie Richard Stinson, Jathan Gregory Richard, Joshua Riley Richard and James Thomas Richard; great grandchildren, Ashley Knock McClellan, Brandon Knock, Mya Augustynowicz, Mara Augustynowicz, Macie Augustynowicz, Synora Goodman, Morgan Goodman, Devin Goodman, Logan Wall, Kierstin Wall, Cade Stinson, Blake Stinson, Elliott Stinson, Kitts Stinson, Grace Richard, Jesse Dee Richard and four great-great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband of 65 1/2 years, Marvin Dillard Richard, Jr.; grandson, Marvin Dillard "Dee" Richard, IV; granddaughter, Melaina Richard Goodman; daughter-in-law, Sandi Richard; brothers, George Almond Wright, Thomas Hillyer Wright, Sr.; sisters, Emily Wright Christian and Lelia Wright Kelley.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m until the hour of service in the Lincolnton Baptist Church Social Hall on Monday, December 16, 2019.
