TIGNALL , GA. - Mrs. Montine Edwards, 82, of Broad River Scenic Dr. entered into rest on Monday, October 19, 2009 at University Hospital . There will be a memorial service to celebrate the life and homegoing of Mrs. Edwards at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Edwards and Rev. Reese Leroy officiating. Mrs. Edwards was the daughter of the late William Nobles and the late Fannie Scott Nobles. She was retired as a switchboard operator at University Hospital and was a member of Tabor Baptist Church . Survivors include her husband, Rev. Jim Edwards; two daughters, Patricia Collins of Martinez, GA.and Cynthia Blanchard and husband, Al of North Augusta, S.C.; five sons, Jim Champion and wife, Peggy of Martinez, GA., Fayne Edwards and wife, Dianne of Crawfordville, GA., Dennis Edwards and wife, Donna of Lincolnton, GA., Steve Edwards of Augusta, GA. and Tim Edwards and wife, Cindy of Goldsboro, N.C.; fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
