LINCOLNTON, GA - Mr. Thomas Olin Reed, Sr., 87, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at his residence on Reed Rd.

The celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Pine Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Wes Gardner and Rev. Bart Grey officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service in the church sanctuary. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be William Denton, Reed Denton, Brandon Reed, Drew Davenport, Marcy Remsen, George Remsen, Jacob Harmon and Marcus Matthews. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the Men's Club of Pine Grove UMC and Larry Campbell.

Mr. Reed was the son of the late Luther Freeman Reed and the late Lettie Mae Bowers Reed of Lincoln County. He was a dairy farmer for most of his life, retiring in 2006 and after retirement Olin assisted his wife, Beth, with the icing of cakes in their business A Piece of Cake. Mr. Reed was recognized for over fifty years of dedicated service and leadership to the Lincoln County Soil and Water Conservation District.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Beth Drinkard Reed; children, Gracia Denton and husband, Jeff, Hawes Reed and friend, Karen Scott, Lettie Anne Reed and Thomas Reed and wife, Katie; grandchildren, William Denton and wife, Jessica, Elsbeth Davenport and husband, Drew, Reed Denton and fiancee, Taylor Davis, Brandon Reed and wife, Robin, Kimberly Harmon and husband, Jacob, Gracie Anne Self, Talley Reed, Emma Reed and Tamsen Reed; great grandchildren, Olin Davenport, Kenley Denton, Josephine Denton, Liam Denton, Braxton Reed, Palmer Reed, Mia Denton and A.J. Stewart.
