LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mrs. Patricia Townsend, of Elberton Hwy. entered into rest on Thursday, May 5th, 2022 at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, GA.

Mrs. Townsend along with her husband were retired as owners and operators of Broad River Bait and Tackle Store in Lincoln County.

Survivors include one son, Michael Lee Townsend of Elberton, GA.; one daughter, Lisa Townsend-Jahnke and husband, Arlon of Modoc, SC.; five grandchildren, Brooks, Alex, Jared, Emily and Liz Beth. Mrs. Townsend was also predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Michael Brent Townsend.

Mrs. Townsend desired no memorial services. The family has requested that in leu of flowers memorial donations should be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Mrs. Patricia Townsend.
