WASHINGTON, GA - Mr. Raymond Alfred Amsdill, 70 entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta, GA.
A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date. Interment will be in the Onondaga Township Cemetery, Onondaga, MI.
Mr. Amsdill was born January 29, 1950, in Stockbridge, Michigan and lived in Washington, Georgia for the past fourteen years. He served his country with honor in the United States Marine Corps from 1972 to 1976 and retired from General Motors.
He is survived by two daughters, Connie Rae Killer and husband, Jason of Port Saint Lucie, FL, and Laura Grace Bettencourt and husband, Kenneth of Fountain Inn, SC; four sisters, Marilynn McKinney and husband, Gerald of Lincolnton, GA, Susan Garland of Charlotte, MI, Margaret Dowding, Onondaga, MI, and Marie Kidder, Rives Junction, MI; three brothers, William Amsdill, Sr. and wife Pamela, of Eaton Rapids, MI, Richard Amsdill and wife, Sherry and Mark Amsdill, both of Onondaga, MI; three grandchildren Heather Hyslop and husband, John, Tyler Bettencourt, Alexis Benham and husband, Micah; one great grandson; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Earl R. and Vivian E. Amsdill; a brother, Anthony Amsdill and a sister, Mary Ann Amsdill.
