LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mr. Raymond F. Wilson, 76 entered into eternal rest at his residence on Chamberlain Ferry Rd.
There will be a Celebration of Life service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Pine Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Thomas Moon and Rev. Bart Grey officiating.
Mr. Wilson was a native of Frankfort, Kentucky and the son of Raymond F. Wilson, Sr. and Stella Wilson. He was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church and worked as a heavy equipment operator. He served in the National Guard and the United States Army during the invasion at the Bay of Pigs on the south coast of Cuba. Raymond was an avid Florida Gator fan, loved the wild animals that came in the yard and caring for his flower bed.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Ann Wilson; one daughter,Stella Wilson Beard and husband, Ryan of Danville, KY; two step daughters, Barbara Grey and husband, Rick and Suzie Caltheirone and husband,Billy both of Charlotte, N.C.;one step son, Charles Anderson and wife, Christy of Charleston, S.C.; two grandchildren, Johnny Carroll and Clayton Carroll; eight step grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two step sisters, Susan Wilson and Patsy Wilson.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Mary KIrkland and to Heartland Hospice for their excellent care of Raymond while he was confined at home.

The family will receive friends after the service in the church social hall.
